As Pro Arte’s first development in synthetic hair, Prolene was created as a substitute to delicate natural hairs making it the perfect brush for watercolour, gouache and watered down acrylic paints. The soft hairs mimic natural properties as they can absorb large amounts of colour while still pulling to a sharp and responsive point.

These rigger brushes use longer synthetic hairs that are able to carry more colour, allowing you to paint thin, continuous lines without needing to reapply paint.
