The Renaissance Squirrel brush range uses a high quality hair that’s able to hold a huge amount of colour while still retaining a sharp point. This makes it a great brush for laying down large amounts of watercolour and gouache accurately on the paper.

By pressing lightly and just using the tip of the mop brush, you can create very fine details and lines with the body of the hair holding plenty of colour without reapplying paint. Alternatively, you can press down and create large background washes and fill in large areas with watercolour paints.

The head is tied together using a traditional wire to create the iconic quill/mop brush shape.
