The Sablene range was developed with a new ‘wave synthetic’ that is able to mimic the wide belly and sharp point of natural Sable hair. These softer hairs create pockets of air to increase the amount of colour that can be held, making Sablene the perfect watercolour and gouache brush.

The flat brush head is great for colour blocking, painting large backgrounds, and by using the flat on its side you can create thin lines and edges. Larger sizes can paint background washes and wet on wet techniques with watercolour and gouache.
